The project
Located within a 5-acre site in rural Herefordshire, Pontrilas Group’s brand-new purpose-built builders merchant was vulnerable to trespassers and theft. Tod Security were contracted to supply a CCTV and alarm system in order to provide comprehensive protection.
Capable of monitoring and automatically following people’s movements anywhere on the site, the external coverage consisted of multiple static and PanTiltZoom (PTZ) high resolution CCTV cameras, all with integral infrared lighting.

For added security, during out of hours, the site is continuously monitored by our 24/7 CCTV and alarm control room.
In the event of an intruder, our team monitoring the site will be notified and will take the appropriate action. This includes remotely operating the CCTV, warning off intruders from the premises, calling the police and notifying keyholders from the business.
