How our Temperature Detection Cameras work
The fever screening thermal camera is able to detect and record any temperature over ‘absolute zero’ i.e. -270 degrees. This is because anything at absolute zero or above emits a detectable amount of infrared radiation, which the camera is then able to translate into thermal images. This technology is applicable to body temperatures, meaning that thermal cameras with high temperature accuracy are able to detect and alert you to anyone with a potential fever, which is commonly recognised as 38◦C or higher.

Highly efficient and ultra-safe
It only takes one second for a thermal camera to detect a person’s temperature, meaning that the camera is highly efficient and able to detect large numbers of people at one time. With non-contact temperature monitoring, it is also able to capture a person’s temperature from more than a metre away, ensuring maximum safety and avoiding unnecessary physical contact.
